M1 fire classification
M1 fire classification's description
The M classification is a standard of French origin, and determines, according to a precise protocol, the flammability of materials (NF P 92.503, NF P 92.504 and NF P 92-505)
According to their fire reaction, fabrics are classified into 5 categories, M0, M1, M2, M3, M4 (NF P. 92.507), from the least flammable to the most flammable.
All fabrics in the Velto range are classified M1, and the classification reports are drawn up by certified laboratories, and renewed every five years.
In addition, TF Création's choice of a fabric composition based on permanent flame retardant materials thus makes the classification of unlimited duration.
